Data Deletion

We respect your privacy. This page explains how to request deletion of your personal data from The Strong Reports and what to expect during the process.

Request by email

Send an email with the subject line Data Deletion Request to:

privacy@strongreport.org

Please include the email address you used to sign in and any details that will help us locate your account.

Request via account

If you are signed in, go to your Account page and contact us through the support link. We will confirm your identity before processing the request.

Typical processing time is 7–14 days.

What we delete

  • Saved articles and reading lists.
  • Comments and discussion activity.
  • Newsletter preferences and email subscriptions.
  • Profile information stored in our app database.

What we may keep

  • Records required to meet legal or tax obligations.
  • Security logs needed to protect our platform.
  • Backup data retained for a limited time.

Verification

For your safety, we may ask you to verify ownership of the account. This can include confirming your email address or responding from the email used to sign in.

If you used Google or Facebook to sign in, please mention the provider in your request.

Processing timeline

We aim to complete requests within 7–14 days. Some requests may take longer if additional verification is needed.

You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

Only want to stop emails?

You can disable Breaking, Explain, or Daily Digest emails directly on your Account page. This stops emails without deleting your account.
